You see, this whole thing began nearly 10 years ago.  That's when I officially got my "start" in the fitness industry after winning the 2001 Body for Life Challenge.

Since then,

But more important than any of that, I'm a student.

And by that I mean I'm always learning, digging in to new research to develop better theories and better methods to use with my clients.

And I suppose, most would say, I'm also somewhat of a "mad scientist".  You see, I'm of the belief that there's no value to learning something unless you're somehow going to apply it to your life to yield some sort of positive benefit.

So when I read a research paper (like I've done more than 800 times now), and from that research paper gain an idea (which I nearly always do), I test that bad boy out.  And over the last 9 years, I've been fortunate enough to have a lot of very willing "test subjects" (i.e. friends and clients) who eagerly await my next "creation".

One such test subject is my good friend, colleague, and the "training director" at, John Romaniello.

By the way, he doesn't really hold that title (at least not officially), but I thought it'd make him feel special when he read this post today.

Anyway, John is the Uber Trainer (Level 5) who developed all of the phenomenally amazing workouts that will be released as part of the Xtreme Fat Loss Diet program on May 1st, so I simply have to (under intense obligation) give the man some credit.

Thank you, sir.

But even more than that, where I've got to give him the MOST credit is in the development of the Xtreme Fat Loss Diet as my first true guinea pig.

You see, John and I have a long standing friendship in which we've been able to help each other in many different ways throughout life.  And by that I mean that he mostly helps me with fashion tips and I'm largely responsible for the dietary methods he uses to get completely "shredded", as they say.  

Clearly, it's been, and is, a mutually beneficial friendship.

And when it came to the first stages of the Xtreme Fat Loss Diet (which had no name other than "bro, try this, it will helps you loses the fats" at the time), our relationship became even stronger.  Why, you ask?  

Because John lost 14 lbs in 25 days, that's why.

And that's when starting at single digit body fat and closing out at a ridiculously lean and ripped 4% body fat.

Now, if someone who started already exceptionally lean (while having the feat in front of him of losing the hardest, most stubborn last pounds of fat) can achieve those types of results in just 25 days, just imagine what you can achieve if you're beginning at a more average level of body fat.

Not to mention that was 3 years ago now, and the program, in its current state, is WAY better.

Still, the program, as John has noted, was, and is, "the awesome".

Having said that, since that first "official" trial run almost 3 years ago now, we've successfully taken a couple hundred clients through the program, perfecting the set-up and the structure each time, and learning a heck of a lot along the way.
